A love-laden mind is always happy. It’s always like singing birds nesting in healthy surroundings, trees bent with plenty of fruits and rainbows over peaceful seas, perhaps gladder than them all. Why? Because, her love is coming! That’s when she wishes to ascend a pulpit of silken purple dyes, carved meticulously with doves and peacocks and pomegranates, and worked in golden grapes and leaves and silver lilies. Why? Because, her love is coming for her birthday!! A typical early nineteenth century song from a girl, excelling even the tender sentiments and ardent affections in Jane Austen novels, from the poet Christina Rossetti, who also wrote ‘Does The Road Wind Uphill All the Way’!!!
