People, Children's Poetry

Abstract

Some people are like fast, flashy cars Zooming and varooming, Racing their motors, And speeding recklessly through life. Some people are like huge, heavy tugboats Slow and plodding, And dragging a big load through life. But the happiest people by far Are like the colorful free balloons Floating and gliding, Forever dreaming serenely, Enjoying the ups and downs of life Often content to drift through the wonder Of an ever-changing kaleidoscope.
