It may be mentioned in passing that the English Empire was neither created nor maintained by the academic classes of England or Great Britain. It was the ordinary, non scholastic class of English individuals who created this empire. Even Robert Clive, who literally single-handedly created an English Empire in the Indian subcontinent, was not a college-dropout. He was a school-dropout. However, once this Empire was created, the academic classes with bare information, and lesser knowledge, made a mess of everything with nonsensical intellectualism, that made the whole endeavour of these individuals something criminal. They simply did not understand what it was thatled to English victories in far-flung lands, with a majority lower classes simply assembling under the English flags.
