Bangkok is the most vibrant city in South-eastern Asia, cosmopolitan and exotic, ancient and modern, frenetic and enjoyable. Chinatown and its street vendors, Dusit and the Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall, Sukhumvit with its street markets, the busy Prathumwan quarter, the floating market in Taling Chan: every place deserves a visit but absolutely do not forget the Royal Palace and the Wat Pho temple (with a giant golden Buddha)
