Abstract

This is a book about my training to become a teacher of Transcendental Meditation® (TM®) under the guidance of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. My journey to become a TM teacher began even before I was initiated into the practice of Transcendental Meditation. It happened quite spontaneously while I was attending an introductory lecture by the Maharishi at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Hence, a separate book evolved: "Becoming a Teacher of Transcendental Meditation." "Becoming a Teacher of Transcendental Meditation" is an account of just one year of my life, nevertheless it was the most transformational year of my life. Therefore, this period of time de
